Does my child's data ever leave my device?
No. Ember uses end-to-end encryption. Your child's location, audio, and health signals are readable only by devices you own. Even Ember cannot decrypt them.
How is Ember different from AirTag or Life360?
AirTag needs someone's iPhone nearby to know where your child is. Life360 needs your child to be holding a phone. Ember has cellular built in — it works everywhere, on its own, and alerts you the moment your child leaves a safe radius or a verified route.
When does Ember ship?
2027. First-in-line waitlist families get founding pricing and priority delivery.
How does the patch stay on?
A medical-grade hydrocolloid adhesive — the same category used by continuous glucose monitors for children. Wear time is 3–5 days per base. The electronics pod snaps off for bath, charging, and skin rest.
